I just got my ACT writing score. But I am confused about how it works. ):
If the essay is scored out of 1-6, then why is my score displayed as 2-12? TT-TT
So everyone? On a personal scale… on the ACT writing test:
What is a low score?
What is an average score?
And what is a high writing score?
I don’t know at all… ):

It’s 2-12 because there are 2 graders, and their 1-6 scores are added together
So for me, average essay score is a 4-8, high is anything above that, and low is anything below that. I’m really bad at writing though, so my definition of average might be a little on the low side hahaha

I got an 8, so… ^-^;;;; I’m a tad disappointed, ha ha… T-T;;
