I want to kick myself. I left an answer blank on the CR section to play it safe, and my instinct turned out to be the correct answer. I just got my score report, and it seems -2 is an 800. I had -2 and one omitted. It’s silly to complain about, but knowing I was so close to perfection in one section kills me.

      You’ve got to embrace that!

Boring people get perfect scores. Interesting ones get damn close. (Or perhaps I’m biased?)

I’m signed up to take the SAT II’s next week, but if I get to the testing location early I can opt to take the SAT reasoning test again. Is it worth it? My score is already middle 50% but I really want to get as close to 2200 as possible.

Nah, I think it would benefit you much more to take the SATIIs.
There’s a huge difference between a 700 and an 800 on the SATIIs, because everyone does really really well on those, but on the SAT, you’re already safely above average. I don’t know if that makes any sense. I guess what I’m mostly trying to say is that there isn’t that much difference between your score like a 2200something, so even if you did well on the SAT after taking it again, it wouldn’t make much difference.
      Good luck :)

SAT’s for the last time this morning. I’m not sure how I did, which is rather disconcerting. My last practice was a 2200 on the dot, but I felt that the CR section was MUCH harder than it has been in the past for me and the essay topic didn’t really click with me either, which is especially weird because I usually get at least a 10 on my essay. Meanwhile, math, which I usually have the most trouble with, was incredibly easy. Anyone else take it this morning?

The math was ridiculously easy. But The CR was much harder. I thought the essay was moderately easy but this is the second time taking them and I was prepared opposed to the first time i took them.
